Wow, that was quick. I am out of the stickers now but can offer a modified kit from now on. You get the two pins, Mongolia Patch and a super rare, cool, LRNA "Baltimore 97" patch to commemorate the opening of LRNA Headquarters in Lanham,Md. back in the day. Will post a pic of this patch shorlty.

Wow, I just found a bunch of these NOS LRNA Baltimore Stickers in the stash. Forgot I had them. These will be included in the new kits at no extra charge.

I think their geography is a bit sketchy if they are calling Lanham "Baltimore". There's a 35 mile gap between the two. Maybe the sticker was for a dealership?
However, LRNA HQ was still in the construction phase at that time so who knows...

PRESS RELEASE

Land Rover Announces 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

13 March 1997

Land Rover Celebrates 10 Years of U.S. Retails

Eight-fold Rise in Sales Posted 1987-97

LANHAM, Md., March 12 -- On March 16, Land Rover North
America, Inc. will mark its tenth anniversary of retail sales in the United
States. From 1987, when the company retailed 2,586 units in less than
10 months, sales by the importer and distributor of the legendary British-
built Land Rover sport utility vehicles soared to 23,182 units in calendar
year l996. During the same period, LRNA's model range rose from one -- the
Range Rover -- to the current four -- the Range Rover 4.0 SE and 4.6 HSE,
Discovery and Defender 90, and the number of outlets has grown from 36 to 108
carefully selected retail partners, 49 of which are the widely acclaimed Land
Rover Centres.
Charles R. Hughes, president, Land Rover North America, and the current
longest-serving CEO of a U.S. automotive company, said, "I am privileged and
proud to have led our growth over the past 10 years, and consider mine to be
one of the most enjoyable jobs in the automotive industry. Our renowned
vehicles are recognized and admired worldwide for their capabilities, and it
is an honor to lead and develop the North American market."
Mr. Hughes continued, "The style of the automotive retailing is changing
rapidly. We have led the way by developing Land Rover Centres dedicated to
making the automotive purchase experience a pleasurable and fulfilling part of
the lifestyle of our active, outdoor enthusiast owners who appreciate the
unparalleled competence and heritage of our vehicles."
During the past decade, many prestigious awards have been accorded LRNA's
vehicles, advertising, and conservation efforts, including three "Four Wheeler
of the Year" accolades bestowed by Four Wheeler magazine.
The celebration will continue on April 30, when LRNA dedicates its new
60,000 square foot national headquarters building in Lanham, the second in a
three-part $10 million expansion campaign. Last July, the company dedicated
the Demonstration Course at Lanham Creek, designed to showcase Land Rover
vehicles' expertise. The final stage, Land Rover University, which will serve
as the primary sales and service training center for the company's retail
partners and feature its own 20-acre off-road course, is scheduled for
completion this summer.
More information can be obtained at 1-800-FINE-4WD or at the company's web
site, http://www-LandRover.com.
Land Rover North America, Inc., is a member of the Rover Group of
Companies, importing vehicles manufactured by Land Rover, Solihull,
England. The Rover Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BMW AG.

What do you expect from Limeys regarding U.S. Geography? They flew in to BWI and so Lanham was the same thing to them. These patches and stickers were genuine Land Rover Gear Items offered through dealerships to commemorate the groundbreaking of the new HQ.
