There are flying clubs everywhere and some guys really geek out on this stuff like we do with Rovers. I'd look on Facebook and see if there are any plane spotter or pilot groups in your area. I looked at this because both my Wife and I are pilots.

If I was closer I would take them. I like to build them and give them away as gifts. The P38 alone is a $100 plane. Just find a model store and give them the models. They can sell them at a discount.

The P38 is a cool aircraft! I am part of a group that has been working in Eastern Greenland near where the Lost Squadron of P38s went down.

Glacier Girl came from there. Good to see her flying, along with the other P-38's in this area.

I also sent a pm a while ago, no word. I built the same corsair a few years back. Added some rc gear and it made a nice little park flier. It was unceremoniously destroyed mid-air by another plane apparently trying to reenact a WW2 air battle. Would be fun to build (and fly) another.

I have not see Glacier Girl personally, but worked with some of the same people that pulled her up in the 90's. That sucks about the corsair. I got the chance to sit in a rare Super Corsair earlier this year.
