When he wants comfort he takes his Series 1.

More importantly what year is this 950? They had some issues between the years.

640s were sweet looking but road terrible. 690s are great!

640 = Series I on the highway
690 = Defender on the highway

Sweet bike non the less, KTMs are made for the dirt, BMWs are made for the street, GLWS

...and plug for KTMs. They are the best, but my experiences are limited to MX and woods, so FWIW.

My brother just (on a whim and don't know why) traded his 200EXC for a Gas-Gas. DNF'd his first race (Unadilla).

9fiddy is a 2004.. When I did the engine I did all of the upgrades such as the newer style oiling tube..update timing chain tensioner system.. water pump shaft and seals etc etc.. I particularly wanted a non fuel injected engine for the ease of trail or road side repairs.. I have gotten out of trouble more times on carbed versions than injected versions..not to mention easier and cheaper to get parts etc..I can make a carb gasket out of a Manila folder.... Like to see someone make a fuel management EPROM with the same..lol.

That owner is an asshole! Name is Stan or Den or something like that. Guy is taking up all the street parking with his mid 1990s garbage Land Rovers

That's Ocala! I agree, Florida doesn't have a whole lot to offer. Ocala has some fun corners if you know where to look, and I had a pretty good time when I rode Appalachiacola, but there just isn't any serious diversity in the terrain like in other parts of the country. At this point I've just embraced the sand.

Embracing the sand, that's tough when you want something more technical. I did a little riding when I was younger and kinda lost interest because of the same reason. I needed more challenges to keep up with my need to improve.

Understandable. There's technical stuff out there, the problem is that regardless of where you go in Florida, it's the same type of riding. It definitely gets old, but I grew up on two wheels so I'll take what I can get when it comes to getting my fix.

I'm keen. Let me know when you start piecing something together. Congrats on the sale!
