Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) Trauma Gear

We did a group purchase for an overland/ mostly rover group and I have ten IFAK kit contents left up FS

Each kit contains
1 SWAT-T tourniquet
1 Israeli Bandage
1 Quick Clot Trauma Pad or Gauze Roll (size of Quick Clot pad may vary between the two we ordered)

Even with limited to no medical training, one can render aid to others or themselves with these three items.

I did host a training class for the group on the use of these things-but bottom line is they are simple to use and have become a part of mainstream civilian emergency medicine. On the MIL side we have just been doing it for so much longer it's old hat.

Obviously my med kit I take with me everyplace is extensive, however I have within reach of my drivers seat these three items at all times. A critical enhancement to any first aid kit especially for those that work hard to get away from civilization and fast, definitive advanced medical care.

50.00 per kit includes Shipping

That's a great kit for a good price. I always get frustrated when I try to buy a first aid kit and it only has "band aids".

It's good to see this stuff in the mainstream more and more. For those considering it I would suggest it as an add-on to the conventional 1st aid kits from Wilderness or something.

Personally I carry several Israeli bandages and gauze rolls but I'm biased from seeing prolific expenditure during GSW treatment-good news is they are cheap.

Also worth grabbing a tear-away pouch and incorporate it into your rig, blue ridge offroad has a Velcro headrest add-on that makes it very easy to incorporate 1-2 of these kits into your rig.

GLWS and thanks for posting up the stuff!
