Not mine obviously, but wow. That's a big markup.

That's a lhd Tithonus radio truck. Bought, shipped, imported, and transported to Utah cost someone 17-19k- maybe more the way the exchange rate has rapidly changed.
If there were anymore lhd Tithonus trucks I'd agree it was way overpriced, but there are no more importable lhd tithonus. These were trading on ebay in the 22-25k range before the supply @ Withams was exhausted so my guess is someone is testing the market

Actually Tithonus trucks were all rebuilt in 08/09 and got all new Exmoor Trim seats and their sound matting as well.

Good to know! I thought all MOD-spec rigs were bare bones!

That's pretty much what I was thinking too. I'd been toying with the idea of getting one, I even contacted Abe about it, but figured I'd just keep with what I have now. I've been watching the threads and prices on the Tithonus for awhile. I wouldn't doubt they'll get something close to it. It's startling how much the prices on them have been going up, would have been nice to buy a dozen and sit on them!

Hmm, interesting. Maybe I should raise my prices, as mine are a good bit less.

Completely unverified but interesting story nonetheless. Story goes that the guy selling has it on consignment, along with a Himalaya truck at one time. The owner of both was a ranch owner that moved on from LR ownership.

Anyone want me to go check it out for them? Not that I know much about Tithonus trucks but can give you general impressions.

That Tithonus was one of the trucks I purchased for the Tithonus movie.

I can vouch for it being pristine condition. It is the nicest condition LHD exmod I have seen. Thats why I bought it. If the timing is right I will buy it back. It really is a nice truck. I purchased two of them on site inspection in UK and imported them about a year and half ago. The Current owner has had his fun with the 4 Rovers he has had in his collection and his moving on. I don't even think he drove this as it was sitting inside his vehicle storage shop since he bought it.
