Holy spray paint batman

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Land-...orcev4exp=true

Sad thing is someone will look at this and say OMG it looks brand new...and in 3 months all the paint will flake off and the true truck will be seen.

Maybe I should do this to my truck and throw it on EBAY, instead of taking honest pictures and trying to sell it here lol

Not talking about the exterior..

I'm talking about the engine bay....every hose/line/ even the fan was sprayed.

Underbody as well, its like they took a wagner spray gun for a house and just sprayed everything.

Seller said it was sold. I wanted his front bumper if he didn't sell.

I am in the UK right now and almost every older Land Rover I see looks like it has painted with a bucket and a brush (except those at Foley's ). Spray paint may be an upgrade in some cases.

Sucker Here

Let me start by saying I have been lurking on the boards for a couple years. Figured it was time to get a little more involved and this seemed like the perfect thread!

I purchased this 110DC paint bomb but with complete knowledge (as much as possible) of what I am getting into. I am going to do a frame up build on it so was just looking for the base unit and I have been struggling finding the right Landy in UK. I finished a frame up NAS 90 in 2011 and had to sell it for financial reasons and this was the next step for me.

Wit that said I am looking for another Double Cab 110/130 but LHD for my business partner the idea is that we want to do the builds at the same time. If anyone has any referrals that would be great.

A little background I am fairly new to Defenders since I have only built one and I subbed a lot of that out but I have built dozens of SEMA cars over the years and owned a custom shop that sold to full customs to Japan in the 90's so fairly capable but would greatly appreciate any help or advice. I have fairly thick skin so feel free to say it like it is.

Man if that is really located in Altamonte Springs, Florida I could have checked it out for you. If you have not shipped it yet, you should check out Safari HP for any needed parts like doors or bulkhead, etc and throw it in the back of the truck before shipping it out. Safari HP is only 20 minutes away. Good luck with your project.

Just make sure that is ok with your shipper. Some don't allow any extra "cargo" in the car when they ship, some are cool with it.

Thanks for the heads up since I am getting prices now I will negotiate that in the deal just in case!

No this one is just sitting in the shop waiting on her sister who is the way from the UK thanks to Uncle Doug. Also working on a container from UK to the West Coast with some bits for both. Hoping to do both builds at the same time and considering a NAS 90 to 130 project? More of a hobby and a break from home than anything....

I attached a couple pictures or her waiting patiently!

Awesome. If I ever get my hands on a D90 that isn't quite right it's getting a 110 crew cab conversion.
