Ad looks fine to me. Appears to be a TD as well. I doubt it can be titled in California, but should be fine elsewhere. Check out the import paperwork and make sure the chassis and vin plate match up.

Over all I find some of what they wrote for the add very "vague" starting with:

"temporary California license"

According to the pictures it "had" a temporary operating permit.
A temporary operating permit isn't the same as license.
Then add teh line "Legally Imported to California" line
It kind of gives the impression that it is or can be registered in California for use.

Also they indicate that they aren't keeping it because they don't have the room, but it's far more likely they aren't keeping it because they couldn't get it registered in California beyond that temperate operating permit.

Lastly look at their selling history individual rating.

AFAIK, you can't title imported diesels in California at all. It would need to be titled elsewhere.

The ad still seems fine. It is not written by a car guy. Go have a look....
