Ground Top Tent, I mean Double Tent Cot + Mattress: $150 delivered to MAR

So I bought a Camprite Double Tent Cot & the mattress before we went to Abu Dhabi. I think I've used it all of 3-4 times, once as a test run before I went, once in AD, and maybe twice since being home. In order to free up room in the town house garage, it is for sale at the price of $150. I can deliver in the Northern VA area (maybe even go to MD, if I have to), and will be at MAR where you can pick it up and instantly sleep on it.

Here's the model: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AAQZK5E...=17PDT556WS7HP

& this mattress
https://www.amazon.com/Kamp-Rite-Dou..._&dpSrc=detail

Both are in good condition, with minor wear from being used the ~4 times and from sitting in my garage(s) as well as moving across the world. They function as intended, and as you can see, are offered at less than half price.

Biggest thing to point out: they are not small. They take up a lot of cubic space in your load out. So be advised.

So get the best ground top tent

Does this have a bar running lengthwise down the center?

It does. Mattress helps, but doesn't completely eliminate, that aspect. I found it is superb for individuals who want some space and to be comfortable and off the ground. April didn't like the bar but didn't mind it too much once the mattress was added to the mix.

We just don't like to consume the space in the trucks...& one day I'm holding out for either a car hauler mounted RTT-or a Baroud.

I have a single and like it pretty well. Not sure if the wife and/or daughter would like this or not. I'm probably better of sticking with my old standard tent when I have the family along.

I'm fairly sure I'll unload this on one of the facebook mid atlantic 'overlanding' groups since it is really well suited for a pickup truck vice a Rover...
...but I couldn't resist the chance to post the GTT and offer first right of refusal.

Saw the Cabela double version of this and it just seemed overly complicated. Folding it away was a bit like a sleep sofa. I also doubt that its as weather proof as a normal tent and fly.

Interesting, it doesn't appear that the Cabelas has a fly (the Camprite does). In terms of operation, it basically is unfolding a cot-and putting together a small tent. Then zipping to the two together.

I have found it as weather proof as any other light/medium duty tent.

They do have a fly (you have to click on the description to get details).

Ok I knew about the GTT but didn't hear about the ABBA wake up call. That sheds a whole new light on the matter. Did he have a disco ball inside the tent?
