Great deal on parts for ALL Land Rovers!

Check this out guys: I ordered some parts for my disco from Lincoln at Land Rover Bone Yard! He was very fast and reliable at shipping these parts to me. He is a very nice and outgoing individual. Prices are really reasonable!

Give it three weeks. LRNA will shut that site down. Pretty harsh stealing Randy's co name.

Haha, thats funny. Randy is migrating away from it anyway, but yeah that's harsh. I assume the community is small enough that they knew about him (and noticed when they tried to register the .com) but maybe not. Anyway Randy is going by British Boneyard now.

When I first saw this post I started to instantly respond about how great Randy is to deal with but glad I clicked the link to realize it wasn't Randy's site!

I don't see why there is a problem with the name? I have used the term using old rover bones to put into my rover.... Should that be in issue because I am referring to an old used land rover back seat?? lol :D Dose Randy have rover bones as a registered trade mark??? If so, then lincoln will have to change his name by law.

I dunno. I'm no LRNA, but lets see

He chose roverbones.net when roverbones.com was already a user land rover parts place called... "Rover Bones" until just recently (and may still be DBA)
He calls himself "Rover Bones" all over his site
And he uses the roverbones.net for his email, so no need to point out he also has landroverboneyard.com

Anyhow, glad he's been good for you, but I believe this will be a source of confusion

Very true. I would give him high recommendations for his service.
Not sure why this got moved though??
MODERATORS: Did I not post it in the right section? This way I know in the future.

I moved it as it does not belong under for sale. You are not selling anything, but recommending a vendor.

I think it's interesting that someone would choose a gTLD for a vehicle parts business that is typically used for businesses that are information technology related. Considering the .com gTLD was already used by someone in the same line of business, I honestly can't think of but one reason to do that when a person already has landroverboneyard.com, which would work fine for both the website and email.
