FS/NJ 58cm Cannondale R800

Hi,
I got this in trade with a co-worker who bought it on a whim.

Anway, he rode it once or twice and then left it in a shed behind his house. I replaced the chain, saddle and one inner tube. The frame is like new. The wheels are straight and true. There is some surface rust no the cassette and if I were keeping it I'd replace the stem bolts as they have surface rust also. The bike just needs to be ridden. It's a 58cm with a mixture of Shimano 105 (STI shifters and derailleurs) and Truvative. I'll post a picture after I get home.

Price is just based on a few random google searches. $700

I've uploaded a picture that I found online... The bike I'm selling looks more or less identical, with the exception of the goofy saddle on the online bike.

As with anything else I have listed for sale, I'd consider taking some items in trade. I'm looking for front seats for my 90, as well as lockable tuffy type boxes (either a console or something for the rear tub). The price is OBO too

I want a pic of the fat chance as well. If it is sized like the cannondale it would be perfect. Horsey you can put wood blocks on the pedals

Just some more info about the Fat. It's a Somerville built Team Comp with rare GP Wilson drop outs. It went back to Fat for a re-paint in the early 90's and now has the green fade paint of that era. They also added Wicked Lite decals at the factory back then, perhaps because the Lite was a comparable frame at the time of the re-spray. It's built with period correct Deore XT (including thumbshifters etc), though I also have a full XTR M900 (1st generation) group that would suit it. I even have a complete Campagnolo Record OR build kit that I've considered rebuilding it with. I've always considered it "a keeper" but I only seem to ride my custom 29er thesedays and I'd like to see the Fat get ridden. It's been all over the East Coast and was my main ride until last year.

Just got home and have these two of the Fat on my hard drive... Sorry they're not better. I'll try to take a few more this weekend.

Could use a bath,

but here's the Fat Chance...

edit: I keep getting an error telling me I'm missing a "Security Token"... Could this be because I'm working from a new laptop?
