So, with the arrival of our son, I must sell my Golf to reduce monthly payments so my wife does not have to work. I will be going back to using my mk4 greasecar and motorcycle as my commuters.

Option of three sets of wheels.
Factory alloy 16” with about 6k miles on them, very clean.
OEM Audi BBS RS-861 19” wheels that are on her currently, lots of rubber left
OEM VW B6 Monte Carlo 17” with Blizzak’s first used in 11/2011. Wheels are rough, but they are for the winter.

I have all the stock exhaust parts (nothing was cut) and stock headlights/tail lights.

I have a 2011 tdi jetta sportwagen (basically a four door golf with the bigger trunk) and it has been great. 40mpg without even trying.

Really sweet ride! I have the 03 Jetta wagon w 1.8 turbo 5 speed. Heaps of fun but if you granny her I get 30-35 mpg. Glwts!

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

Asking 17,500 with just the stock tires/wheels
Asking 18,000 with just the BBS's
Asking 18,500 with the factory wheels and winters, or the BBS wheels and stocks
Asking 19,000 with all three sets.

And now at 40k. Oil and fuel filters will be changed this weekend.
