Phone number (631) 236-8659 goes to David Orbison and Adam - I guess they're the original owners or just dealers driving the truck around with that original owner description.

Carfax shows 2 owners. It had a bunch of East Hampton town stickers dating back some time. Since it is on NOFO I am guessing it was purchased by a dealer.

Here's another one of their vehicles.

"2004 Discovery II

Now the slight downside.... the vehicle did recently overheat, so we took all normal steps to address what is also a very common problem. This resulted in, new head gaskets on both sides, new thermostat, radiator, performed a coolant flush, changed spark plugs, oil change, intake gaskets and exhaust manifold gaskets. This all performed by a Land Rover mechanic. However, it is still overheating after a short drive and appears to be building up pressure. As this vehicle was purchased to be a daily driver we have decided that we could no longer continue to chase the issue and have decided to sell it. It does NOT appear that the sleeve has dropped on either side, so the engine is not a total loss. The bottom line on this vehicle-if you are looking for a nice clean Disco, that has already had a lot of common issues addressed but just needs a little more tweaking and you have little time to invest in making it a nice truck, this is the one. This is a GOOD truck, it needs a sharp mechanic to pay a little attention to it and it could be running right in no time, and will look and drive great. It currently starts right up and idles great prior to overheating.

I met a guy last year at a gas station that had one of these. He thought he'd bought a camel trophy disco. He went on and on about how valuable it was. I didn't have the heart to break the news to him.

I couldn't have let it go. I would be ruthless. I would have to say something.
