truck looks nice. Kind of wierd to have 2 reverse lights on a ROW truck. I thought the one on the left would be a rear fog light....

My first question would be why is a PA truck advertised on Mijammies CL? real or someone trying to scam?

I routinely remove the rear fog and install a second backup light.

At the press of a button....

Its a magical way of making tailgaters back off in the US as they think you just put on the brakes. Works better on D1s as there are 2 of them so they look just like brake lights.

All UK vehicles have to have at least 1 on the rear drivers side as well as a warning light on the dash to show when it is on. No idea on ROW trucks. NAS D1s have them as they are integrated in the rear light clusters so I guess its easier to just leave them in place than remove them on the US models. NAS Defenders dont have them I guess because they had to redo all of the lights for the NAS models anyway so no need to include a fog.

Your X5 doesn't have a rear fog light? I know my Audi had one...figured it was a EU thing. Like the D1s, the XJ's had them built into the rear bumper.

Usually the fog light is on the drivers side of the vehicle (left or right depending...) On the Audi, and the Volvo the harness is built to accept either left or right. I have contemplated puting the second one in my wifes car..

They are nice and bright, most people get a little confused sometimes when they only see one red light, or only one back up light.

I think they were 285's. Thats been about three years ago. I remember the truck had a rhd heater just moved to the opposite side as part of the conversion that was done. The suspension was procomp springs and shocks that he had bought from Rovers North. I remember being surprised @ how well it handled as I'm not a procomp fan. The truck started life as a rhd 5 door wagon and was originally owned by some guy on the west coast who called himself big foot chaser or something like that. He was chasing sasquatch's with a 110 full of gear. When I drove it it had a nissan diesel in it that they had tried to make a f250 turbo fit onto and it wasn't flowing enough exhaust to spool that big turbo. He wanted my advice on what to do. Looks like he installed a v8 and called it done. Truck was very nicely done other than the heater and engine-he spent a fortune.
