Feeler: Perentie 6x6 double cab

Can't list a price yet as the truck won't be arriving until October. I will of course come back and list a price as soon we have a handle on our all in costs and add additional pictures. If interested please get in touch. Trying to get the truck here in time for the October events like Uwharrie and Expo East but will be @ the mercy of customs. These trucks were very special in that they cost well over $200k ea to build and there were only about 25 of these double cabs built. Built with/powered by Isuzu 3.9 turbo diesel and manufactured by Jaguar Rover Australia. Full time 6 wheel drive and galvanized chassis. Unlike the squaddy 110's the 6x6's were turbo charged and have power steering. As you can see from the picture the Aussie's figured out the way to build a proper double cab defender, ie one where an adult male can actually sit in the back seat. Many post things as being "rare" here. Pretty sure this takes the cake. Actually kind of hoping it takes a while to sell for selfish reasons. To me, this is the ultimate Defender.

I bet you have it for less than a week before it's off to a buyer. 1 of 25 is rare not like the rare vehicles that folks sell on here.

Very nice Doug,
Good luck with the sale... Although I'm sure you won't need luck to sell this one!

Please let me know when it arrives. This will be way out of my budget, but I would love to check it out.

Thanks,
Max

Mar is Sept 28th through Oct 2nd. It has to be 25 on arrival so it has to arrive after Oct 1st. I should have my demo 110 Perentie there for MAR.

We got the truck delivered and she's in pretty incredible condition.

I have several seriously interested parties so this will likely sell off the forum
before it arrives state side but wanted to share the rover porn as several seem to feel the same way
about this rare big girl like I do.

I did confirm with my partner Matt that the
second rear axle is not live 100% of the time. You have to engage it but it can
be used in high or low range. The dash on the 6Bee's is totally custom as can be seen.
Remove the 4 rifle holder between the front seats and there is a ton of room in the cab compared
to a normal double cab.

Nice.

Where is the middle/spacer window sourced from?

Is this going to make it to the farm before being sold? If so, when??

Manufactured by JRA specifically for this project. Be neat to see how they did the T posts.
A guy can hope, between our three farms there are a couple spots I'd like to stretch
this thing out.

That's my understading. Two separate drive shafts. One is powered from the pto plate location on the back of the tcase.

You should hold a silent auction for the interested parties....
I'd dearly love a 110 version of this, but suspect mine will be "homegrown".
