ECR Series Trucks for sale

Saw this on facebook today

The time has come to clean up the yard. We have been buying and restoring Series Rovers for a long time, and now that we no longer work on Series Rovers it is time to let them go to homes that can use them for parts or restore them. We have a SIIA 109 pick up, 3x SIIA 109 Station Wagons (1 is a NADA 6 cyl) , a SIIA 88 pick up and a number of SIIA and SIII 88s, including some SIIA "bug-eyes". All are factory LHD, 12 volt and petrol. We have no 24 volt or military Rovers. They are mostly complete and all are restoration worthy (we scrapped the ones that were too far gone). If a Rover project is what you are looking for come check them out and bring a trailer. To be clear, these are all restoration projects. All need frames and major work. You will need to come look and pick the one you like best. We will not be selling any of these Rovers via pictures. We want the buyer to know exactly what they are getting and that means you need to see it with your own eyes.
Viewing is buy appointment only.
Maine does not offer titles for vehicles this old, so all Series Rovers are sold on a Bill of Sale only.

Haha. Just looked up their page - 30 comments on that post alone.

I could only imagine their condition after sitting outside in Maine for the last however many years in that field!

Hah! Yes, I should have everything buttoned up tomorrow and back on the road. The down time waiting for parts has given me time to address a bunch of little things on the truck.

He said he wants up to $4,500 each for them based on condition. And I guess the worst one for $500.

and with no title, just bill of sale (I guess that's how it works with the older cars?). From Mike:

"The conditions vary greatly, but say 500 to 4500. We also have a couple of [galvanized] 109 coil chassis for sale. 2000. each."

"We have [already] sold a few [trucks], roughly about 16 or so left I would guess."

Yup, here in Maine any car over 15 yrs can be sold with a hand written bill of sale on a napkin.
If someone was smart, they would grab those 109 coiler frames. They are brand new.

The trucks are rough. All of them. They all need frames, bulkhead work, door frames , wire harnesses etc.....

Grab a 109 coiler frame and that 109 pick up and you have the start of a great project.

Absolutely. Mikes selling those frames at a great price. If anyone is even considering a 109 build down the road it's worth it now. That 109 truck is pretty cool. Plow gear and all.

Unfortunately, most places outside of Maine will require a transferable registration to title in the home state.

Actually I may need a rear 88 tub. Maybe I'll call Mike. This something you have room for?

Yeah that's what I figured...I'll give Mike a call but probably need to sort some things on my end anyhow before I start going to get a tub.

Do I see another Road Trip in my horizon?

I'll go to ECR with you...

The problem we might have is that I have to wait until mid Sep.
