We have 2 to do coming right up, but these will be our first with the Puma auto (Ashcroft). The Td5 auto works nicely, we have done a number of those, and its roughly the same system, so it should be good.

We have a couple "1980s" (cough-cough) 110s that are customer owned/imported that are getting some mods, but customers have the option to not have their trucks posted so I don't post if they say don't.

Next up for sale is a Series III Lightweight, LHD, 12 volt, galvanized coil sprung frame, 3 link front, ARBs front and rear, 24 spline front, 30 spline rear, 4.11 gears, CB, VHF, front and rear Warn winches, super overbuilt everywhere, Rover V8 EFI with 5 speed and LT230 transfer case. Power steering (Rover) and much more. We need to put a new top on it and get it mechanically checked out in the next little while, but it will be ready soon, just in time for wheeling season in the east.
Beast! My 5 year old would love if I bought that as he wants to get an "Army" Rover - sadly my wife would feel quite the opposite.

Love that orange.

Love that orange.
The G4 customer wanted full Euro specs, lights, everything.
As close as we could make a G4 clone as possible (with a few minor changes, like the cage).
Everything is new parts, so in the end it might as well be a ROW truck, its built exactly the same way (other than color, galv frame, stainless lines, all stainless assembly hardware, etc etc)

Oh ok, so these are ROW trucks with transferred VINs and cages, and sometimes a new paint job, like Allen said above. Got it. Makes sense seeing how bad some of these NAS 110s seem to be.

That's quite a stretch from what I said and not accurate.
We don't import vehicles. Thats fine if you want to do that (the more the better), but the trucks we build are built up from parts on galvanized frames with parts from our parts inventory.
New doors, floors, tub sides, roofs, AC kits, bulkheads, engines, gearboxes from Ashcroft, etc. that are painted and then assembled here. How else do you end up with a 4.6 V8 and an automatic in a Black 110? or a 300 tdi automatic with leather seats. Everything is built from parts. Land Rover builds vehicles from parts and so do we. If you'd like you can come to the shop and see one being built, or you can watch the web site with trucks like the G4 clone.

Funny how the know it alls have 1 or 2 posts and just joined.
Have fun guys (I mean wanna-be's)

Oh well I figured you didn't import them. Sorry but it sounded like you have been using disassembled ROW trucks and then reassembling them here with a bit of ECR customization. That surely sounds like the most cost effective way rather than buying parts piecemeal I would assume.

I know my post counts aren't high but I've been reading this board for years, just never been one to post.

Hey Mike, have you considered doing a time lapse video of a build? Someone posted one here the other day of a guy putting together a D90 solo. Absolutely amazing, even though it seemed like a lot of steps were missed/glossed over. It would be fun to see one go together!

Its on my "always wanted to" list. I think it would be really cool. It would need to have a few different angles though so that it would show unloading the container, tear down, paint work, assembly and all. Someday I want a promotional video as cool as TLC's. The one they have is awesome (and I just like their stuff anyway).

Do you have any conversion photos of the 110 from Dan that's getting the 300 TDi --> V8 Auto? Sounds interesting even though very disturbing.

We will. It will be on the web site once we get deeper into it.

Cool would love to see these photos as well when you get them up on the site. Sounds like this should be in progress right now.
