I also don't see why this is such a turd - looks pretty well done other than the discrepancy on the mileage which is indeed worrisome for something listed at such a high price. And I hate that dash but I respect why they tried to redo the stock NAS D110 dash as its complete crap and looks it.

On the $125K price - my experience working on mine is that you can easily get a NAS D110 done in that scope of restoration for well under $125K. It largely depends on the donor vehicle's condition (and price you pay for it) but even assuming full frame swap and new bulkhead (thus frame-off resto) you are probably all-in somewhere under $100K. Well under that if you can do a lot of the work yourself. Just my $0.02.

The dash alone should make the value go down 50k. The mileage another 50k

Is the point of buying something like this to show that you have money and can spend it poorly?

It's a shame nice stock trucks have burnt up yet this thing lives.

I can understand the pristine original trucks commanding a high price. Same with import ones. Pristine original vehicles regardless of year can be considered collectables. WTF is with janky trevved up trucks being listed for high dollar? Not just this one, even the rando ones on eBay.

I like how your bio blurb says you have a taste for the finer things, but goes on to describe your ownership of a Fiat 500.

Nothing really that wrong with it other than some inconsistencies.

It really is a nice vehicle. If I had a bottomless pocket, I'd be all over it if I didn't mind looking past the possible bad things.

Fiat.
Fix it again, Tony.

Has something in common with Land Rover.

I like em too. Not sure if you recall our conversation about my 1750 GTV a few years ago. Something about a shared affinity for "shitbox Italian cars." In all fairness, you could have been talking about the Ferraris.

I've been wanting to do an electric conversion on a 500, but not having a garage right now really cramps my style.

i hear you..... i will say in the last 4 years i have had to rely on my fiat the couple of times a rover has left me stranded at my house. thats the crazy part: when a fiat is more reliable than the rovers!

=)

oh i remember the conversation..... one of those crazy European shows just did an electric mini that was awesome! i am on the verge of "thinking about selling it" i just dont drive it as much as i should.
