eBay 1980/1993/2004 D110 / Dormobile

I didnt see this posted elsewhere, if it is, sorry for the duplication.

Not mine- looks pretty good but the explanation on the VIN seems a bit peculiar.

Oregon state issued a V.I.N for this vehicle upon inspection in 2004. Could not be licensed as a 2004 but a (1993 replica) eBay does not list Oregon issued V.I.N. numbers as they are less than 17 digits hence the listing year 1980, the V.I.N. listed is the correct to the Vehicle, and the year in the description of 2004 is correct as well .

I'm not casting dispersions on this guys sale.

I recently imported a 1985 for a member of this board. I gave him the import documents so he could title the truck in his home state of NC. North Carolina issued a 2010 model year title-despite having epa, dot, customs, and the UK V5, and a UK certificate of permanent export, all indicating a 1985 model year. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to how some of these states issue what they issue.

In the case of the truck above it looks like a neat truck- I'd say if he has the import documents or a picture album of where it was built from parts and its what you want go for it. Its kind of what Ron Brown is building from a NAS 110.

Don't care if it's titled as a '63 Ford Pinto, that's one MEAN looking truck!! $85k is way too high, but it's current $55k is much more reasonable IMHO. Only wish I had $55k .

No way it was built from parts. Other than the roof, everything else is 2004 vintage.
