Just in case some folks on here are also Land Cruiser fans, I just listed my FJ55 on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=251249560591

Going to let the bidding dictate the value of the cruiser but if you're a serious buyer happy to answer any questions.

Of special interest to this crowd is the fact that for an upcoming move I have to downsize vehicles for garage space and the D90 beat out this beauty so shows how much I love the Defender.

Nice!

Beauty...love the paint scheme. Pig's in good condition are hard to come by. You sure you want to sell it? GLWS, it will make someone very happy I am sure.

That thing is awesome. Unless money is the decider. I would kick the 90 to the curb for that truck.

I've always loved the 55s, the two-tone kicks ass.

Gorgeous 55!!
Funny, I sold my 55 to get my first 90 back in Dec '93. I might have to agree with above post- keep the 55 as it is easier to find a Defender than another 55 like yours.

I had a 55/Iron Pig while in college in the early 80's. Mine was just over 10yrs old and it wasn't anywhere near as nice as yours and that was 30 years ago. Good luck with the sale.

Strange it shows that way for you - reserve was definitely met and it sold to the high bidder. It was a fine Pig indeed
