Anybody have a good source for shipping a D90 from the east coast to the west coast? Thanks

Horseless carriage quoted me at $2300 from CT to Southern CA. I have done the cross country D90 shipping multiple times.. you really don't need to get enclosed shipping for these trucks unless you are dealing with a super collectable high dollar garage queen.

ECR's rec. Jeff Barnes at Barnes Auto transport was who I liked the most when I spoke to him once. Haven't been able to reach him since though.

Copley recommended me a guy who sounded very competent but I ended up going with a shipping company that came in at $400 less.

I have used Pioneer Auto Transport and Ace Auto Trans with success (door to door in less than a week and damage free). I am hesitant to recommend these places strongly as they both have their share of stories on transportreviews.com. Don't pay more than $1100 for outdoor transport. If price isn't an issue do Fed Ex auto transport or Horseless.

Jeff Barnes is your man. He is picking up our Range Rover for me in LA tomorrow to bring to Maine. I can talk to him since he will be picking up a load when he gets here in about a week.

I only recommended Horseless as the poster wanted reliable. Made no mention of price.

Jeff is both reliable and reasonably priced. He has been shipping our rovers coast to coast every season for 5 years. He is an owner/operator and a very nice guy.

Good timing. Thinking about picking up an RRC in Norcal and need a way to get it here. Can you PM Barnes' info? Thanks.

Thanks guys, I have a guy in CA looking to purchase my Red D90 and was telling how expensive the shipping was. I will give him the names you guys gave me and let you know if the deal happens. Thanks again

I am away right now, so don't have contact info, but try Cowboy Transport in Tx- great folks, very reasonable, used numerous times as have others here, and super reliable.

I've used Dependable Auto Transport (DAS) and was very pleased. Agent to Agent option will save you $$ over door-to-door and did not add any hassle.
