Drug Problems in PA

Ron B I think there's a drug epidemic near you. It looks like Land Rover Jaguar Main Line is on CRACK. That's the only explanation I can think of for this price. The carpet doesn't even match the drapes on the paint job. Oh, and they also want $45k for a '95 with 100k miles.

WTF, that is so wrong. "Popular color combo"? That price for a 3 door is stupid money. I could maybe see $40k if the paint was original and actually matched, and it was a 5 door.

Ya, I saw that and was shocked. They were asking $30k for the D90 they bought off the gentleman in Maine for $15k, but this is absurd.

The black on the outside and not having sprayed the blue on the inside is particularly bad IMHO.

I am going to go offer one of mine to them if they keep this up.

Now, I think the deal is that they just park them up there to drive traffic to the shop. There is a nice yellow 94 ST parked out front last time I drove by, but the ebay link shows it with a non-genuine cage

I think they use the same dealer down in the island.

The guy wants $29k for a ghetto green IIA.

Wow hadn't seen that. Now I'm actually concerned that they may actually be on meth as well. That was squaretyre's truck; it had a salvage title, 100k miles, non-NAS cage, and he sold it to them for like $20k.

Same dealer that wanted $800 to change a wheel bearing on my D1 when I used to work out near there...

They must be a knowledgeable and reputable LR dealer. Just look at the ebay description that includes a feature that we ALL had no idea that existed on our rigs: 90 Manual 3.9L Alloy Wheels Driver's Front Airbag Clock Gauge Cluster Tachometer.

They also don't know how to set the rear jump seats.

Ron, I hope this wasn't the dealer you worked for back in the day.

In PA the drug of choice would be Meth, not crack.

Drug of choice on the main line is prescription drugs.

I offered $500.00. I also added this note...

You folks over there are an embarrassment to the LR community. That vehicle isn't worth 80K at best it's 35K and as a testament to your product knowledge that D90 is not equipped with an airbag...

Yeah I know...you don't have to say it...

My favorite line from some of their ads:

"Our vehicles are value priced and move quickly. Be sure to call us to confirm availability"

Wow. 1 day later, and there's been a price chop of 37.5% from $79,999 to $49,999 - clearly they know what they're doing over there. HAHA

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-...item3f24f1def4

They also added this bit of info, so that you'd know they're not actually on drugs.

This vehicle is being sold on consignment. Customer is not a distressed seller. Vehicle has been recently serviced with new tires, new clutch, new carb, and oil change.
Please call Marc Schwarz at 610.520.2000 Ext 301 for additional information.

What, no claims of a super detail? In order to justify a 50k price tag, they must have waxed/detailed it at least once.
