I sold a few of those when they were new. Most were Borrego Yellow. I heard there were a few white ones but never did see one. They had a cool black tech fabric interior,Saudi/Gulf Front Bumper, rock sliders and a wraparound brush bar. They were supposed to have an SD Roof Rack but none of the ones we got had them.
They sold ok, but the Borrego color was not as good as AA Yellow and they really need the SD Rack to make it look right.

If I remember correctly there were 150 Yellow, 150 White, and only 50 in Bonatti Grey (we had one of each come through our store). I likewise sold a couple, basically the same set-up interior as the 2000 TReK Discoverys, plus sunroofs. The Saudi spec bumper and grille were nice.

There was a Bonatti one ebay a couple of weeks ago. I had never seen a Grey one before, only the yellow and white. Here's discussion we had on DiscoWeb:

I know you remember the train horn and emergency lights we put on it.

You are right Martin. How could I forget that vehicle or that customer? I must be getting old and feeble. When someone says "Kalahari" I automatically think of Suzy Schaeffer's yellow one that we tricked out.
Anyway, still don't recall any Bonatti ones.

IMHO, 2002 was a very reliable year for Discos, probably the best.
