D130 for sale in Southampton NY

Just drove by this and had to pull over. Other than the Rhino liner peeling in the bed, this truck looked f***ing awesome. Frame looked great, LHD, A/C, TD5, absolutely beautiful truck. Listed as an '86 110. Confused by that as its a 130, but to each his own.

pics and links attached.

I'd agree with that, I saw the 90 too. It'll sell there.
That 130 was gorgeous.

That 130 was on eBay a few months back. It's the straight-tub style versus the standard hicap setup. Came from Netherlands or something if I recall?

For sure a former Dutch Land rover.

For tax purposes they stretched the wheelbase of the 130 with 2 inch hence the different body. This body style was only sold in The Netherlands between 1994 and 2001.

Wondering which or what part on this car is 1986...

That's a risky investment with the body and motor. Might be the reason for the drastic price reduction

touche'

The 2.7 liter td5 engine is indicative that the dealer has no clue what they are selling.

Priced correctly. But as Johan points out you would always be looking over your shoulder.
Nene Overland had a couple of these as the Dutch military released them.

Is there any reason to believe that any trucks other than the ones Aaron imported have ever been seized or intended to be seized..?? I thought it was more along the lines of the illegal activities of one person that was the common thread on that whole debacle.. I would like to think that ones that have gotten in already and then seized would create legal battles with the government CBP customs etc for letting them in after being inspected already.. Their whole foundation for the others seized was Aaron's falsifications etc..

Are you willing to bet $63k on a truck you know is not going to get returned if the importer paperwork was reviewed again?

Man... You guys are killjoys.....I'm not worried because I already have a 130 and going through all the hoops to get it here legally, temporarily.. I still think there has to be some law that says...if you buy a vehicle that is already registered titled etc here then your own purchase should be okay... Especially if buying through a dealer... If the numbers match the paperwork on the title and the rego etc the consumer is innocent of any wrongdoing.. I know that is not currently the case but I hope that will be an additional benefit/outcome from this date forth of the fight Will is fighting..
