Probably done by the same guy that painted over my outlets in my family room.

Has anyone ever painted wheels with a spray? I was looking at Hemmings and there was an article about how easy it was to use Eastwood satin black wheel paint. Just wondering how that would come out.

In between getting new tires (had the old ones removed first) I wire wheeled my steel rims and rattle canned them. Came out fine IMO. I'm not sure you can do a great job with tires on them though.

A trick to avoid getting paint on the tyres is to paint a thin layer of grease on the tyres, once the paint is dry remove the grease and hey presto!

Use wax on the tires. All cheap paint shops will put a coat of hard wax on the tires before they spray, comes off way easier than grease or oil.
