I tried for it but it sold in a day. Supposedly had a replaced crossmember and some wheel well corrosion. The search continues.

Think after shipping to America it will be like $23K We're keeping prices low as the rover side of our business is in the beginning stages. We've mostly exported vehicles and equipment in past. We have extended into importing also now.

I find these from doing some business in international trade when I go do product inspections in other countries. Running around Ghana this summer, half the time I was drooling over the 4x4 like Rovers and Unimogs. Felt like a kid in a candy store.

We're open to suggestions for good rovers to start with importing. Most all are the diesel sort I didn't see many petrol. If you have WhatsApp I can send pictures I get updated with from my Staff in other countries.

Cheers
Justin

I posted a pic of that truck on IG about a year ago I believe. It was sitting (read: collapsed) in a pool of automotive fluid soaked mud at a junkyard nearby. Just for shits and giggles, I asked the owner what they wanted for it then and he said to make an offer. I declined as I didn't really want it. I guess someone made them a good offer and posted it up on blocks. There is nearly nothing salvageable on that truck.

This is not the place for your advertising. Please read the forum rules and apply for vendorship. Also, I hope that's air freight shipping for $10k.

I don't see anything that screams scam... Maybe he's military and relocating in Dec. Crazy to think that 54,000 would be a steal, but if the mileage is true and its in nice shape then it would be.

But why Maui? Only a small Guard outpost there. All regular are on Oahu.

simple version,
have a friend in the region go meet the guy. If he's coming up with excuses or asks for deposits then likely a scam. If you go and have the title then is legit. done and done. What ifs never help anyone.

From what I'm assuming, his wife is currently on Maui in that small outpost. It's her truck and she's asked him to try sell for her or bring over Dec 1. The car is backed by eBay's Buyer Protection, and unfortunately is in a warehouse with the shipper ready for transport to either Maui or elsewhere. The car has been priced appropriately low so as to move quickly and to account for not being able to do a PPI. But as the owner said in the ad, the pictures tell it all anyway. Oh and the speedo stopped working at 20k miles.
