There must some benefit to registering vehicles in Montana. I was doing some work in a building here in Colorado and the owner had a few classic cars that were all plated from Montana.

taxes..among others

Exotic Cars and Montana Plates

In Maine you have to pay tax on the MSRP of your car when it was new! Nothing like registering a 20 year old RRC you paid $2500 bucks for and having to pay almost as much in tax.

Right! And then they wouldn't even let me use a period correct 'lobster' license plate.

What's the deal with exhaust?

Not mine and not a rover but thought some here might get a kick out of this. Apparently one can drive this thing around Florida: Umbrella Corporation Mercury Marauder Clone Marquis

For posterity sake: "Umbrella Corporation Mercury Marauder Clone Marquis - $7000 (Bradenton) First, NO the M134 minigun, trunk arsenal and roof rack does NOT come with the car at this price. I can leave the graphics on it however if you like. What you are getting though is undoubtedly one of the finest Mercury's around. The list of mods and add on's are HUGE. First the vitals...

1999 Mercury Grand Marquis, 4.6 V8, 120k miles. 15k invested in the car itself (not counting the weaponry in the trunk or on the roof) runs strong, sounds great, handles phenomenal.

Exterior
1 yr old full repaint, base coat/clear coat with shaved emblems and smoked tail lights
Police push bumper
3 month old Ballistic wheels and tires
New headlamps and marker lamps
Shaved moldings and emblems
Marauder trunk spoiler

Performance
Metco billet control arms
Metco billet watts link
Addco sway bars
Billstein shocks
Ford Racing 3.73 gear
Ford Racing posi carrier
Aluminum driveshaft
Accel coils
Steeda under-drive pulleys
Ford Racing PI intake
K&N Cold air intake
Performance dyno tune
Mangaflow true dual exhaust with H pipe
Roadrunner 2800 Stall converter
New transmission
New alternator
New brakes
New axle and carrier bearings
New u-joints
New radiator
New plugs
New wires
New thermostat
New battery

Interior
New headliner
New shifter bushings
New power window motors
Carbon fiber dash wrap
Lincoln town car interior swap
New premium carpet kit
JVC Car play deck
JBL component speakers
Limo tint

Cleanest and nicest one on the planet most likely. $7000 FIRM. Trades considered, but nothing less than 10k in value if you aren't bringing cash! If you want the car as-is with the roof rack, lights, replica M134 minigun and trunk arsenal, add $3000 and I am willing to sell the car complete as it stands. However you should be prepared for a photo shoot at every stop sign, lengthy conversations at every gas station, people following you for miles on the freeway shooting video of the car, and law enforcement stopping to ask you to pose for photos with them. I guarantee to you if you park this between a Bentley, Lamborghini and an original Cobra this car will draw the biggest crowd every time hands down. Most fun car i've ever owned.

Why am I selling it? Simple, i'm building something even crazier next."

Who would drive around with a Klan symbol on their car? Someone armed with a mini-gun, that's who.

That looks like a very nice Classic (except for the pitch black tint). Interior is in great condition.

I don't mind taking a road trip to go see it if anyone is curious. Hell, $2900...

And that pitch black tint may be to thank for the interior not being cracked, lol..never know.

Maybe not a bad price, considering what rebuilt ROWs are starting at. https://www.ebay.com/itm/222258843791

Anyone know this truck?
