So when it was in the service of the police department, it probably got titled and registered. So probably the only RSOVs that have a chance of hitting the civilian market are the ones that worked for a PD.

I wonder what the reserve is. It's at $14.1k currently and hasn't met reserve yet. Looks like the dude owned it for like 1 hour before it hit eBay based on the release date.

After going through the Colorado DMV getting my 1991 Civilian Rover titled and plated if this has a real Colorado title and plates then it would be a real deal. I was told at the time I got mine inspected that Humvee's are next to impossible to get titles since they don't have a full VIN and Colorado can't handle a non 17 digit VIN. Since this has a normal VIN it should be good. As others have said if local Sheriffs or PDs have handled the title process it also should be good. The title process in Colorado was harder than expected but other states are easier so your results may vary. I hope someone on the site buys it I would love to see more details shared.

That's the second one to come out of Colorado. A friend bought the other one this spring and shipped it somewhere. When I saw this one I thought it was a scam using the photos of the first one but as you can see they are different trucks.
I found it but two Defenders are my limit per SWMBO.

Sure Stephen spent more than that building his replica. Auction ended the 13th. Hope someone here got it.

It's not a Rover, but these are pretty cool. A mint '79 Toyota 4x4. I had a white '82 in high school.

I believe I know of whom he speaks. From what I understand the museum is quite spectacular, even if not open to the public.

Well it sounds like he describes it as a museum to others. Where is it!
