Buyer beware
Clearly has plate from Mexico on it. Not uncommon in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado to have cars from Mexico being driven around. I called the dealer and they didn't answer I had a "few" questions about this truck but no return call yet.

Dealer called me back! He sold it to someone from Mexico and will be returning it home to Mexico. Cheaper to buy in US is what I was told. US citizen bought it in Mexico while working in Mexico brought it back home to US and drove until plate expired.

Depending on what an actual frame weighs, that's sounds like a good deal!

$1/lb, with no minimum batch size, at Galvanizers in NW Portland. They don't do prep., however.

I've had two people in Portland tell me they won't do the bulkhead because of fears of litigation due to warping of structural parts of the vehicle.

I'm painting mine. Besides, no salt to worry about around here.

My bulkhead needs fixing up too. I'll just paint it as well.

if you hang the bulkhead the night before just over the galvy bath and let it warm up nothing is going to wrap.

See... I would think there should be ways to avoid the warping, as you say.

Whatever... other than making sure the insides are painted as much as possible, galvanization is great, but not needed here like it would be in other places.
