Reach out to the new "owner" and see if they'll make a deal.

The sad thing is that I bought my first Defender 2009, it was a 94 Arles blue with a Tickford and a fiberglass hard top with 110k miles for $16,500.

1997 NAS Defender 90SW $36,750 Needs a heater core, currently bypassed. Will need a radiator soon. Hard starts in the morning, cycling key seems to help. Truck has some rust in the usual places. Clean title. Located just south of Boston. http://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/cto/5212199266.html Click image for larger version

Unless something is being hidden it looks like a good price for a clean truck.

They all look clean from 20 feet which works in Arizona (and not so much for a NE rustbelt and ocean front locale).

I believe this to be a NC truck, so not so sure about how long spend in the " NE rustbelt "

I have nothing to hide and I'm happy to photograph anything for a serious buyer. Honestly hate to sell the truck and doubt I'll ever be able to replace it for that price but, I need a pickup truck for a while so, building a double cab.

It's just a guess. I looked at several Japanese d90s before I found mine...

But station wagon with a replaced speedo and power windows are both indicators of a Japanese Defender.

I have been known to be wrong before. And there is nothing wrong with a Japanese D90

I bought the truck from someone in New Hampshire. He bought it in Charleston SC and only owned it about a year. Hardly drove it. Before him I think it was owned by a lady who drove it from Hilton Head to Valle Crucis . I think the engine was replaced under warranty at the dealership when the truck had about 35000 miles. I have driven it back to NC at the end of every summer season here in New England.

Not Japanese truck. Just a NAS that looks like it had a speedo replaced around the same time as the engine. Looks like the change was documented which is more than can be said for most Japanese/Dubai trucks.
