No, that is a painted fibreglass top.

Looks like a good deal if it is a california truck.

Keith, you buying it? If so, any chance you'd part with the roof rack? I live a few miles from the truck

Bennett,

I will be happy to sell you the rack. The deal should be done shortly and I plan on flying out to San Fran Monday or Tuesday of next week. I will keep in touch.

I've noticed a lot of cheap 1994 d90's popping up lightly. I guess since hey are the oldest, there are a lot of high milers.

Nah, they are the most offroad worthy and the previous owners want others to have some fun.

I hope there are a few more that pop up! At least until I get one.

15-20K D90s - get what you pay for. Only worth for those who have time to overhaul them. Ive found that most (note: MOST, not all) 20K trucks need 10K plus worth of work unless you do it yourself. Went and saw the vehicle in question, and it needed at least that to get it in line with the trucks selling in the high 20's. Im not convinced it has anything to do with the charitable nature of the previous owners (though the guy who sold me mine will always have my gratitude)

That's good information to know.
My days of doing a lot of work under a truck are done. I only have limited time and knowledge for smaller projects. Anything that is going to be done major will have to go to a reliable shop and be done.
After my rear link fell out of my toyota (while we were driving) my wife is sure I have no clue what I am doing. I look at it as learning from my mistakes!

I also viewed several photos of this vehicle and came to the conclusion that while it indeed was worth the asking price, it also needed quite a bit of time and money spent to get it up to par. It would however have been excellent for building a great trail rig.
