Wow, converting over the wiring harness would be interesting. Of course yo could get the Puma motor.....

If you used a tdi you could basically ignore most of the harness.

I think the gauges in the instrument cluster index off the ECM and harness. You could obviously come up with a different instrument pack.

I also think the AC does the same so would need a work around for that too. Otherwise don't need much for the 300tdi/2.8PS.

Yea, the security system would be a bit tricky too as it ties into a lot. It wouldn't be too hard to just re-wire everything and use VDO gauges or something. You know they must be doing something like that in the UK.

The puma engine is just a ford transit engine .. there are probably hundreds of them in breakers ... easiest thing to do with this is find a rolled late puma and body swap it.
