Coffee lover/snob etc Coffee Maker FS...JURA Z5

Putting the feelers out....

My wife and I bought this Jura Z5 over a year ago and it has served us well. Top of the line Jura Espresso/Coffee maker automatic center. We upgraded to a different unit, and sent this back to Jura for a complete overhaul (what they call their PM). I thought we would bring it to the family camp or save it as a back up, but things are tight and it really doesn't makes sense to have two of these... The PM comprises of all new guts, grinder etc etc.

In perfect shape and perfect working order.

If you are not familiar with Jura stuff, here is the link. Cost us just shy of 3k.

Detailed pics, working video etc I can take and send as requested.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.
Josh

$3k????

Holy guacamole Batman! I thought paying $200 for a keurig was extravagant.

Have you marketed this to local restaurants etc via Craigslist?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a coffee maker that costs more than my first car.

Yeah it's actually pretty easy to spend this money OR more on espresso makers. Especially those of Swiss or Italian make. We tested four units before we bought this. I was SET on a manual italian machine you probably see if small coffee shops. But when it came down to the last two, this one won out and it's so easy. I admit part of the decision was that my wife could whip out a coffee or espresso or latte without my assistance! The temp and pump pressure are fantastic and the burr grinder is flawless. Can you tell I geek out on this shit?

This unit is in silver.

I have yet to put this on craigslist. It's always an option as is fleabay but it takes a special person to invest in something like this. Figured someone on the board may be into this stuff equal or more than I am.

I think I'm hovering around 2k for this. Open to offers but since it had its PM that cost me a decent amount, I think it's completely reasonable.

Cheers!

If you love coffee this is a great machine and you will never go back to a drip! I have an S8 at home and a J9.3 at work and swear by them. Worth every penny!

I just put my Defender 90 troubleshooting skills to work in diagnosing why my Jura E9 finally decided to stop working after 4 years and several thousand cups. Good thing all will be well at a price no more than $44. With my new RH 110 double cab soon to be ready, dropping coin on a new machine would not have been in the cards. They are great but man are they freaking dirty on this inside.
