Price seems a little high to me....OK, crazy high.
But, I have personally seen the truck and it's very tidy.

Yes, it's sitting at Ben's shop.
I checked it out briefly yesterday.

Oh, and apparently that "breakdown" last spring was something ridiculously simple. Can't recall what I heard it was, but nothing serious.

Good to hear, the guy that was driving it told me the lt77 went out and he couldn't select any gear. Maybe the tcase just popped out of gear.

She should take $15 but she'll hold out for $20; people just forget what makes a defender, even ROW, valuable... Engines, frame, and bulkhead...

She's halfway there. Spoke with Ben at length yesterday, honest guy.

My overall concern is systemic problems based on the "breakdown". I'm not saying that's the case but red flag if it was just rebuilt bottom up.

The D90's are not bringing as much as the D10's right now. 19.5 for a D90 truck cab with out pictures? I do not think she will get a lot of play on the ad. Too bad.

Chuck, is this the one you sold last year? That was a steal, killed me to see that one go.

According to Ben, the bolt that held the shifter in place was not long enough to engage the threads on the lock nut. Backed off and the bolt fell out. Easy fix. Truck runs great and it's very clean but, it's unbelievably noisy. There's no air clean box on the intake. Just a foam filter. I have the truck in Wake Forest NC.
