Can anyone on LI go buy a truck for me?

Found a promising 95 soft dash on LI, but can't get there any time soon. Skittish seller. Need a proxy on LI to go do the deal for me. Anyone able/willing? Thanks.

Too crusty? That's a good deal on a 95'.. I think its just a pay the guy and get it out of there deal for Bill. If I was closer I would grab it for him, definitely. Somebody step up and help him out he's a good guy.

I live in Smithtown and can gladly take pictures or something if you need, I have little to no technical knowledge sadly.
If you have the vin, I can run it to see if it has been in our service dept at all.

Check for rust!!!!

Most folks think that water comes in from the windshield and wets the fron floorboards but in fact the water is not coming in from the windshield; it's coming in from the side of the footpanels (behind front fenders).

Water comes in from the cowl drain:

This disco came from LI:

I have the same issue on my 96 DI and checkout the rear wheel wells on this truck:

I wouldn't pay more than 2K for a '95 Rangie.

Good luck.

I guess I'm just of the mind-set that there are no good deals when there's ever-present rust.

Issue was over payment. Didn't want Paypal, didn't want alternate third party with cash, didn't this didn't that, wah, wah, wah. Being one who prefers not to play games, I jumped out.

Anyone else is welcome to go get it. Looks like a nice truck, just couldn't make the connection.
