Camera gurus?

Any photo/camera fans on here? I'm thinking of selling two of my Canon 5d Mark II's and didn't know if there would be interest on this board? If not I'll drop them on Craigslist.

Yeah. I shoot primarily with Mk III's now so on the occasion I have to have both the 2 and 3's shooting at the same time I am running into a level consistency issue when trying to balance the final products. The II's are still INCREDIBLE cameras, I just need one cohesive look.

I've always had great luck selling on fredmiranda.com. You have to pay a subscription fee but can usually get top dollar without the eBay fees.

I am a bit tired of weird/sleezy people on Craigslist for higher priced items... esp like you... in the LA area.

I've already got a MKii but my dad is looking to upgrade his 5D so I'll ask him. How much are you looking to get - how many shutter actuations?

To answer the questions:
- I shoot weddings full time & surf/lifestyle stuff in my own time.

- Ive yet to find software that will actually give me shutter counts. If you know of one that will work for the Mk 2 please tell me. My very liberal guess for camera 1 is 45,000 clicks and camera 2 at about 80,000 clicks. Canon reps say the shutter on these is good to 250,000 to 300,000 clicks. So they have a lot of life left.

- Camera 1 also has a battery grip that would be included.

- I am crazy anal retentive when it comes to my gear and both cameras are in impeccable condition. No scratches no dings. Extremely clean. Camera 1 was purchases new from B&H a year or so ago, camera 2 about 2 years ago.

- Looking to get $2000 for camera 1
- Looking to get $1500 for camera 2

I can load up photos of each soon if anyone is interested.
