Camel truck in Florida...Right?

Saw this listing this morning.

Guy claiming that it is a camel truck. Aftermarket roll cage, didn't they all use the safety Devices cages?

Almost sounds like the Camel truck in pieces that was for sale here in VA for a while. All the bits match what he was selling as a project.

It was put together in the UK about '92. I looked at bringing it over in April. Was told it is an original SD camel cage. But it was a mid-late 80s camel spec. I contacted the camel trophy club in the UK and several members validated the original aspects of the vehicle and several viewed it personally.

I've got some more info from the club about it and pics if anyone is seriously interested. Other than chassis and engine (200tdi) the rest is camel supposedly

Also the most telling part if it being a Pre-90 camel spec is the mirrors. They were used up to '88. The history is a little murky, but there were only two owners after the body swap before it came over (again, supposedly). It was sold by MRM land rovers in the UK to whomever imported it here.

PM me if you want to know why I didn't import it

Also I was told this was a '90 CT Siberia truck, but it's said on listing to be Amazon, which makes mire since than Siberia. Maybe new owner did a little more research. Of course as a support vehicle it could have done both.

I know the owner and I am happy to pass on his details if anyone wants to know more. It is the MRM truck so as described.
