I'm gonna guess it's here on Diplo plates. Would make sense on why it has to leave the US as well.

johnyboy_geo2 should be shot for remixing that first video with House music. Sweet looking truck, though.

I saw this truck several months ago and talked to the owner. It's here because he has dual citizenship but has to go back soon. I posted pics in the sightings thread.

Then just import a POS '83 ... register that, then 'restore' it to CAMEL spec using the 2004 as a parts donor.

I understand the must export requirement, however I wonder what happens if such a vehicle is damaged and can't leave ... or do you have to export even a bag of bits?

Not sure it is worth all the trouble for a copy.

hey Brian i'll be in LA on friday.

Yeah, I think so. Last time I saw him he said he was leaving soon and had to take the truck back.

I actually just saw the truck again the other day. Was parked near my office. Looks good but not sure I would keep it as a faux camel...It's still a clean '04 though.

How long will you be here in LA?

Or if you got really creative, you could buy a NAS 110 beater, use the VINs and have a NAS 110 Camel recreation like the NAs 110 G4 recreation. That would be sweet.

I was thinking more of that 6k beater but even at 30k once you do the "restore" to this truck to make it legal you will have a unique valuable truck. Would be great to have this one and the G4 NAS 110 in the same collection. Land Rovers greatest replicas.

I am not in a VIN swapping mood, just observing and learning how to "restore"
