Don't buy anything from these people. If you want horror stories they can be provided.

Payment made by credit card first week of January. Truck finally extricated by transporter/tow truck in April. Used a scanned copy of the V5 to export and import here. Originall never provided despite numerouse requests. Bill of sale provided after the truck was already imported- a little late, guess in 5+ mos time they couldn't make the time. Parts delivered to dealership to be placed inside the truck all stolen. Truck purchased was lhd but that was the only representation made that was true. Represented as being from Netherlands. Later advised by another dealer that the truck was purchased from a mining company in Germany. This was accurate information given the German plates still under the back seat.

These people have changed the name of their business 4 times in 5 years. Is that something a reputeable dealership does ? The business hasn't changed hands- its still Louise Willet and her hsband, the address hasn't changed either. Other UK dealerships have identified them as gypsys which would explain why they are always traveling and can't possibly take your call or return them, once paid. Rumor has it the field behind the dealership is full of "caravans" occupied by transient gypsys.
I posted this warning because a board member here was considering the truck linked and inquired about getting me to handle it.
There isn't even a miniscule chance your transaction might go well. Run, run fast.

Don't really care what they prefer to be called-Pikeys. Hell of a way for a UK licensed dealer to behave. Shame they have had some neat trucks over the years.

Watch this and then envision buying the 110 linked from Mickey.....

Bobeck and I made a wrong turn (Garmin induced) in Hertfordshire and pulled into a pikey village. Not for the faint of heart. They started coming out while we tried to turn around.

Lets just say I agree with "Gorgeous George"

Having just been ripped off to the tune of 11,500 pounds by Mr. Willett, I'll second what Doug has to say. Of course, being an automotive journalist by profession (the power of the pen and all that!) I don't plan on taking this on the chin without a fight. I've already been onto Companies House in the UK to launch an investigation and to stop him from dissolving the company (he's trying to do that right now). I've also be onto his home county Police force and will be visiting them tomorrow, so if anyone would like to add any further ammunition to my gun, I plan on crippling this guy once and for good. He now lives in Spain but his companies are registered in the UK. However, as the vehicles that I'd purchased (and paid for) originated in Spain, he has made the fatal mistake of committing Fraud across EU borders. I have been advised that because of this, this will now escalate into a major fraud investigation, so hopefully his comeuppance is coming!

Best of luck! I would love to see all the crappy sellers stay out of business. I am also a fan anytime the word "comeuppance" is used.

Sadly I don't have any pictures of the ever narrowing lane I followed you down. I was surprised to see that Julian lived in a pikey village. Thought to myself "well, that explains alot," then I saw you hastily reversing towrd me out of the dead end and the locals emerging from their shacks and realized we were lost

Just because you live in a pikey village doesnt make you one. I have had nothing but good dealings with Jullian.

You know what people say about people who live in glass houses....... DC?

Ron I think you missed Dave's point...Julian was lost and accidentally led them into a pikey village. From what I gather, he wanted to get out of there faster than Dave did!
