It's been a long time since I've seen a wreck even close to this bad in a NAS defender. Hope the occupants made it out OK. Judging by the speedometer it looks like the impact occurred at 55mph but that nothing made it through the bulkhead.

oh my. thats sad......

how is the steering wheel not bent, broke, tweaked?
anyone have an open carfax account to run the vin? part of me wants to read the police report, but part of me does not.

It looks like the entire steering column was pushed down in the engine bay/up in the cabin, so the forward force was likely deflected a bit from the steering wheel.

Everyone note, this is a Certificate of Destruction not a salvage title. Only way to get it titled ever again is through a loop hole in Kentucky, where supposedly you can convert to a salvage/rebuild. Parts only.
