They can just go into the payment and click "refund money"

As it turns out he's now telling me about the fees he will incur by refunding the payment. So much for the goodness of mankind. Expensive lesson learned.

My apologies Tony. Please tell him you'll cover his fees, and I'll take whatever extra money it costs off the price of the bottle opener.

(that applies to anyone that has sent it to the other person)

Z.G.,
During the height of the war in Afghanistan & Iraq I had a mil gear business. I took the month of July off, offering 25% off all orders due to an up to 30 day delay for shipping. My daughter send the wrong stuff to hundreds of guys by accident. I resent every order and never asked anybody to ship anything back or to send me a dime. I lost thousands of dollars but had a clear conscience.
Do what you think is right.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your post. Are you suggesting I send people free products? It sounds like in your situation people paid you, and your daughter sent items to the incorrect person. Versus this situation, where people sent money to someone else because an issue that can still be resolved, everyone that has paid me either has it in the mail or in an envelope.

I'm happy to assure people don't lose money on this(by refuting payment, and if any fee is incurred I'll happily cover that).

Griswold@Gmail.com is standing between you and fulfilling peoples orders to everybody's satisfaction. I'm not asking for anything free. I and others sent payment to the email address you posted so there is no difference but I'm not going to tell you to do anything you don't want to do.
Cheers,
Dave

Not sure why Paypal would even allow that, my last name does not have an "A" in it.

Not sure how much I trust the guy, so please let me know if you have sent him money so I can assure I get the money through him.

I should probably butt out, however I don't really see why people sent money to the wrong email. His first post clearly states z.griswold@gmail.com
How is your mistake his fault? The other guy should return the money. Dispute the charge through PayPal.
But Zack shouldn't have to send out free bottle openers. Just my opinion.

I have sent an email to the guy to forward the payments to me, I told him if there are any charges I'll happily pay them.

Like I said earlier, I am not doing this whole thing to make money. However, I can certainly not afford to both pay for the openers as well as the shipping.

Jeff, have you ever seen an email address with spaces in it? No, because they simply do not exist.

This is common practice, I am sorry it caused confusion but I am not the first person to type an email address like that.

Who ever that other guys is, he's full of sh*t! PayPal doesn't charge and or penalize for hitting the refund button.

Yes, it is. That was my point. Either way it's not worth arguing about.

I went ahead and edited the first post to make it clear you should include the Z. A little late for some people.
