Not that Im an old D90.com guy, but thanks to my inability to read and comprehend basic english, folks that joined within the last 6 months or newer to the forum have "Founder" badges and I don't. Yes, Im bitter.

Well you are a "Low Count" and Active Duty so...your confusion is easily understood. I'm sure if special consideration can be made you will see it!

If anyone, "low-count" newly minted forum member or new Land Rover owner is interested in giving up their badge for anyone, an "Old Timer" "High Count" or active duty military please send an email to grillebadge@gmail.com

It's funny but when bill first posted..you are a low count.. That's not what I first read... Maybe I was just expecting something a little different from bill....

Ah- It's all about perspective...seeing you're mostly high, it's all good. I on the other hand will always consider you low...

lol.

Thanks Craig and Bill, but no worries... I definitely don't want anyone to give up their prized piece of flair on account of my stupidity.

On another note, my 1997 NAS 90 SW is for sale. Flair not included.

Define "old timer" & "high count" member? I'd be willing to donate my badge for a similar auction as #1 Badge for the Wounded Warriors Program…. depending on the definitions… but since it was posted for sale on two forums kind of complicates defining it a bit.

I don't know the number… I just know for sure it's not 1 or 2.

Keith I am refereing to the other posts. I believe a low count member would be defined as someone under "X" number of posts on the site. A hight count as "Y"

Why the number of posts matters? Dunno, you could be contributing 8K posts of crap versus 1K posts of useful information.

I was using these terms in the same context as others above did. Heck I just joined this forum in 2011 - but have been around the ROAV gang and other sites since 1999

Hello everyone - we have completely filled the 100 limited edition run of BKB badges. Only a couple of folks didn't make the payment deadline, but those spots were VERY quickly filled with those who asked to be put on the waitlist. Everyone who has sent in the money ($42) as of the allotted time (or as of right this second) will receive a BKB badge.

Obviously there may be some sour grapes, as their always is with limited production run stuff. But to all those folks who paid quickly, followed the directions, and returned emails quickly thank you! It is really appreciated.

As to the auction, well, that is awesome - it is a great cause, and being a group of guys of whom many have a military background, well, it is just plain awesome to look after our brothers in arms. My next update to this thread will be anything around shipping...so stay tuned - probably around the end of March you will get the badge. CHEERS...and Rover On

I was one of the unfortunate souls who responded quickly enough that I would have met the deadline if my email hasn't been sent to grillbadge instead of grillEbadge. I know it is a longshot, but I am willing to buy anyone's badge for a reasonable markup. (I fully expect to get laughed off the thread, but I had to try

Just an aside - I got to sit with Col Oliver North on a recent flight, and was chewing the fat with him, we served on the same dirt...and he lives quite close to me. He is very involved in the WWP and I will contact him to see what we can do...should be interesting.

That's so cool. What a stud! I remember watching him testify as a young boy and I think I still have the doll somewhere! Only doll I ever had! It would be great if this auction could do something unique or get magnified by a funds match or multiplier! Good for you, Jonesy!
