I'm still looking forewards, every day, untill it will be dropped into my mail box.

But I guess I will get a custom's duty fine first.

First World Problems...

Besides, the "Member" badges are much less pompous for a relative Newb like me...and its going in the ManShop anyway.

But I am still waiting for grillbadge to send me a nice porcelain "Weber" founders badge.

Ok, have a few folks outstanding on the "preorder" list...but at this point I'm going to open them up to a few other Rover forums to allow them to order as well. So, if you want one, get 'em while they last .

For those actually mounting this to their grills, what's the preferred method? I have a metal grill, not plastic

I mounted mine yesterday. I have a anodized aluminum heritage style grill, so took it off and found two brass screws and used a combination of large washers and nut to afix it. More difficult with horizontal plastic slats, and horizontal screw holes...

Got my badge today!
Without an extra fee for customs!

Looking pretty good!

Mounted it with screws through the stainless grille from the backside with extra washers fitting the slots of the grille.

Thanks Jason!

Glad it arrived...but wow, it just got there today? I sent it back on 6/26, and *generally* things seem to take about 10-14 days to UK/Germany...yours pushed almost 3-weeks. But glad you received it, and it looks great mounted up!

Clever! Secure and legible from both sides!

(Well, as secure as anything can be in a defender without a full-time resident pet Rottweiler!) ;-)

Love it!!!!

Your timing is insanely spot-on. I was planning to bump this thread, at the bequest of JSBriggs I actually had some velcro-backed BKB patches done and they should be ready this week...they are 2-5/8" diameter and come with the velcro backing.

Also will likely be offering these BKB patches on a hat as well, probably as the velcro-backed option for those that may want to swap out different patches on the hat/etc. I've been totally obsessing over the type of hat to put them on, and have it dialed-in I believe to one that I had to search out high & low specifically for (and going to put the SDO logo on these same hats as well).

And of course the "first run" of BKB badges are NLA, but still have the 2nd run BKB Member badges in-stock and ready to roll .

Will absolutely keep you posted, once the patches are in-hand I'll get to test fitting them to the hat samples to make sure it's good-to-go and will report back.

I glued a few magnets to the bnb plate and its on our kitchen fridge for now

A friend made the brackets.. Pending enough interest, he may be willing to do a batch of them once he gets some free time.
