Arles Blue Canadian POE

No affiliation with the seller.

Just saw this on Ebay. Not too many Arles Blue POE's out there, let alone Canadian ones. (POE="Port of Entry" for those not in the know). LRFAQ shows it to be CDN#60. Appears to have low miles too. The big round stickers on the front wings look to be "Land Rover Wyoming Experience" stickers from the '94 Defender 90 launch.

On top of that notice the sticker on the side. I bet it isn't a canadian truck at all and one of the lrna trucks. That is the press sticker that is on LRNA 1

on that token and not hijack a thread, rover owners have lots of issues importng anything newer than 25 yrs correct.
explain to me how is it I have a fully virginia registered 2007 peugeot cc307 tdi purchased in denmark?
is there a gap which allows other tdi's but not rovers?
perhaps it is allowed because it is a car and not a truck?
does this particular owner knows something others dont in regards to import law?
so many questions and no answers...

My understanding is the NAS Defenders are the same spec in us and canada and regularly go back and forth.

The more I look at it, this is a really cool truck. Someone buy this and save it from the canadian winters.

Are POE worth more than other 90s?

POE tops are worth more than a fiberglass top of course, but the actual POE's were a bit more minimalistic than the other D-90s with no A/C, roll cage was not tied into the chassis (if there at all), interior trim was not really present (bare roof I believe), etc.

Horsey is right. A Poe truck is a st with the cage removed. The front hoop doesn't tie in to anything.

I have seen them with ac though.

A/C was a dealer installed option in '94. In fact, to have a top at all was an option in '94, a lot of them didn't.

Not to argue with the minimalist point, but my POE has a dealer installed AC, full ST cage tied to frame, and I install an NAS SW internal hoop, etc when its in SW configuration. The b hoop, hardware, brackets, pads etc I bought out of another NAS truck for safety, but the rest came with the POE. Rubber interior, ST seats, forward bench, just no headliner or sunroof. They came in a few configurations, probably depending on what was lying around and $.

Not sure I get what you are saying. Sounds like you added the cage after the fact

Well maybe in Canada it is worth more. It is low miles but who knows how rusty.
