Anybody want to wager on this one?

E-Bay D-110. Authentic? Nice color. So what do you think it'll take?

Looks like a slap-dash job, engine is too far back (V8 trans?) Too much "adaptation" under the hood for my taste. Chequerplate on the rear crossmember is never a good sign. 20k truck tops.

Denver? No $h*t. Can't say I've ever seen that one around. I'm sure I would have noticed.
Anyone bidding on it?

Regards,
Art Vigil

$27,000 I think someone out there will not know a lot about them and just want it.

The engine is farther back because its mated to an lt77 instead of the r380. I forget the number but this was for sale on the Expedition Portal. I think it was around 58k with no takers. That was months ago but based on what the guy was saying he had spent and the fact he's still not driving it, I'll bet he doesn't let it go for less than 40k.

Doug you are right. I do remember seeing this one. I also doubt it will meet reserve unless it brings big money. Which I doubt it will, especially with the economy the way it is.

No sir, I don't like it. Not one bit. I find it harder to believe that there were two people with more money than sense bidding than that there was shill bidding or other skullduggery afoot. I've seen NAS 110's with Tdi conversions sell for less.

If you look at the two bidders before the winner it really makes you wonder what is going on. I can see the winning bidder being some kind of setup but the two before him seem to have been around for awhile according to ebays rating system and they bid way more than I would have ever paid for that truck.

beware liveridge4x4. i dont know about the quality of their work but i do know firsthand that they are not a reputable company. when i first looked into getting a defender i wanted a 110 so bad that i let that override my better judgement and i put a 10K deposit on a "refurbished" defender by liveridge in a deal brokered by someone in canada. after one year of excuses and conflicting explanations from the dealer and liveridge i finally realized i had been had and that there was no vehicle coming. when i asked for my money back they both promised to do just that. that was over 6 months ago and still nothing.

Its on the Land Rover East lot

The saga continues, its on the Land Rover East used car lot in Denver/Aurora. I stopped to look at it yesterday just for fun. The sales guy told me it was there on consignment, he quickly walked away when I started to tell him about this thread and actually knew something about Defender's.
