Another low mile 94

Seems like a good price considering the low miles and brand-new engine. Makes you wonder why it needed a new engine with such low miles.

Yeah, I see your point. The car averaged 2700 miles per year, seems to have average wear and tear and has a new engine. Probably got a new speedometer as well at around 50k miles and with a new engine some might think that mileage no longer matters. My engine failed at 94k miles. I bought it with like 89k miles. Who knows how it was taken care of before I got mine. I bought an engine sludge and anti smoke engine treatment that sent all the gunk to my engines oil pump or screen or filter, not sure and my car's engine quickly overheated and failed while trying to cross over the Cascade mountain range in the middle of winter with a buddy and two dogs in the dead of night. I think what is most poignant here is that with 200 miles on the new engine he is like f' it, I'm getting out before something else crappy happens. Fact is with these cars, everything fails at 100k, I've replaced my engine, transmission and every single moving part on my 94 d90. Most people cannot afford to own this car unless they can work on it themselves and can find a cheap parts supplier!

The wife is really nice. They were a pleasure to deal with but it wasn't the vehicle I was looking for. I recommend they post it here

what was it missing that you would have liked to have seen? I'll tell you for 35k with a brand new engine and all of the other new stuff you might not be able to go too wrong here. Much can be altered and the fact remains other stuff is going to fail leading you to replace or restore anyway. Unless you hate the color but if you did you wouldn't have called in the first place or unless you want a diesel or a 110. My new engine was like 14k parts and labor. So really you are buying that rig for like 20k because maybe I'm wrong but all those old 3.9 engines are apt to blow at some point in the future. Could just be my experience that leads me to feel that way, that said, I also predict that every girlfriend I'm ever going to have is going to last 1 year and 8 months.
