Teens? I wouldn't go over 7500. And the owner should be happy to get that much.

If the owner would take $7500, I'd cut him a check today and ship that Defender to The Rover Barn!

The rusty 97 red SW from Ohio with high miles sold for $13k. It sold in the span of a couple hours. It had newer front doors, but the frame was much worse and it was a SW (sells for less money usually). This guy is not that far off and I would not be surprised if he got asking price.

It's only value is the top, the tub and the title. Oh and the wings and bonnet maybe.
Buy it to make into a $100K Puma.

I'd agree with evil; I'd drop 10-12 on this and feel ok about it.

Don't forget the auto console, assuming it's in good shape. And the seats are worth a bit. Plus it has a Badger 1 with gutter kit, nice front bumper and winch.

How much are people paying for NAS identities?

Under $10k. I think Ron Brown used to say $8k for the title, then figure $7k+ for a full ST cage with everything, $1k (maybe) for an auto console, $1k for all of the seats, plus $3-4k for it being able to currently move and we're at $20k.

Word. Is that $8k to a rando or to one of the big shops that rebuilds for mega rich clients?

$8k is not surprising for a truck... recently my mechanic sold a CDN NAS 110 for around 10k that was literally completely useless except for the title.

10k for a NAS 110? With a clear title it would be worth double that.

This is something you should have posted here...before it actually happened!

Agree - and add onto that a decent LHD dash and bits = $2k

Or figure it out the other way what is a '97 NAS ST worth in sound shape and around 100k on the clock - $30k? What about rebuilt with galvy frame and bulkhead? I would say $40k to the right buyer for a galvy rebuilt.

I would guess the TMU issue could be fixed in that the mileage approximated and get a working speedo and odo and with a new chassis and such might not make a huge difference.

I would say $15k for this would be a nice deal but the $20k isn't far off for an asking price. But there are a bunch on pictures and info that would still need to be provided.
