Supposed to be rainy all this weekend, maybe nice on Sunday. I will be around for WSP. I am generally not in Raleigh on the weekends. I am sorry to hijack this thread but it would be nice to see some Defenders.

There are a few places around, I agree DT parking is tough. Depending on weather, maybe try for something on Sunday. Time and location shouldnt be too tough to work out.

Yeah, I have only had this rig for 9 months and I have dumped a total of $11k into it. I have really mixed feelings about selling it. Just got it out of the shop today after dumping another $4k and it is better than ever. I highly recommend J.C.'s British in Denver by the way. Man they did great work, are super friendly, and the truck is running and looking really awesome. The reason I'm selling is because I need a more practical daily driver since my wife drives my SUV all the time.

Many of you may know I just moved to Denver from San Diego in late June. The Defender is a great SoCal car, but old man winter is just around the corner, and I'm weak when it comes to cold weather. It's also been a while since I have had a sports car so I'm getting a loaded 2009 BMW M3. I'll for sure get me another Defender when I have something bigger than a two car garage.

Here's some more pics I took today of the Defender for Chad. In the unlikely event the deal falls through, here are some photos for your viewing pleasure.

Here's the other link as well with some of the nice upgrades I have done.

The only unlikely thing to keep this from going through is Obama raiding my checking account tonight. Just a matter now of getting the fundage to the right bank account and getting a truck lined up!

I also won't have it in time for an event this weekend so let's look at mid October. I vote for a local Ale House somewhere, anywhere in Raleigh.

Thanks Phillip! Hopefully you'll be seeing it in person soon. I took it for one last spin this afternoon since it was so nice out before sending it off to NC. It's the little things I'm going to miss like the thumbs up and waves, the eavesdropping of others talking about your truck at red lights, and the way your heart rate increases when you see another Defender, like this guy I saw about an hour ago off 18th and Broadway in a white D 90.

Well at least it wont rust so much here in NC, however there is a lot of potential for it.

Oddly enough, that looks like my old one I sold but there are a bunch or white SW with SD racks. I'm super stoked for Tuesday!! Huge props to John, standup guy, very honest and we had some good laughs I'm sure throughout this process. I look forward to one day enjoy a beer with John!!

Let's get something scheduled for a Raleigh Meet and Greet although I'm booked up the next couple weeks but might be able to make it happen on 10/15

Dang thats gonna be a long trip. Gotta take the ferry to Ocracoke then the ferry to Hatteras right? Well i'd rather do that than drive around anyway.

Think about it this way: 1%

I've started seeing a white d90 crossing Ten Ten and around Cary a little bit here recently...Im almost never in my disco anymore, not that I would think the guy driving this would be the type of guy to recognize or wave. His hair was too flowy and he was wearing aviator sunglasses. kinda had this smug look on his face.
