You all are mean to poor parts ninja.

I still don't have a location.

The truck is not worth much more than he is selling it for based on the pictures.

Odds are I go there, decide I don't want it, get it running for the guy and he decides to keep it.

Ron

Nah, googling shows he is a real person.

He is now thinking he under priced it.

Did you get his full name from carfax or something? He certainly hasn't divulged enough info to me to be able to look him up.

You are probably right. We should be working together instead of ruining these deals by all emailing him. For every person posting on this thread there are probably 10 others trying to do it silently.

Well I have been waiting for the guy to respond. I had found this on Craigs List 4 hrs after he posted it and have had the pictures. I've been trying to communicate with the guy. Like Ron, I suspected the fuel pump relay but can't get the seller on the phone. Being in Maryland it can't be far from me. I suppose the response he has gotten has shut him down, thanks guys way to mess me up.

Sorry Doug.

We need to engage in some anti-competive buyer side stuff in the future.

BTW Dan Chapman, I have "flipped" a grand total of 4.5 defenders in my 10+ years in rovers. Only the .5 (which, to be fair I bought for parts from the get go) did I own for less than a year. It is not like this is a business for me. If I buy this one, I can drive it while and send out bryson (my first D90) out for a full rebuild.

Oh well. I guess there's no out-Ninja-ing anyone for it from over here in the shiz.

Do I get any points for flying "Ninjas" around?

I am looking for a quick sale for my 94 defender 90. Overall good shape, frame good, body good, very little rust. Hard top & soft top, 40k miles, 5speed. First 10,500 takes it. Email for photos.
