Ha cheap. Too bad it's not a green sw. Its title alone would be worth 20k

The same shop is selling a 1957 Land Rover Series I for $20k. Seems high but is a good looking truck.

I'd buy it if it didn't have a salvage title. Still a good buy, just not for me.

I am local...PM me if anyone wants me to take a look at it.

I am taking the D90 into the shop today and will ask my guy what he knows about this truck and this shop.

I know someone who had a red 90 and an old Series...so guessing that these are his...

I got an email back from the shop today. Seems that they do not want to talk on the phone about the truck. The email was a bit tart mentioning that they told the owner not to sell it for less and would not recommend him doing such. They quoted " If one was to do everything recommended the bill would come to $5355.98" Yikes
They also mentioned "After learning the vehicle had been totaled in it's early life, I put the car on the lift to try and discover if any frame damage was apparent. I learned that there is no frame damage and the undercarriage is rust free."
Just saying....

Hello- Fellow LR guy in MN- I am interested in the truck and test drove it.. 16K sounds liek a good price and it seems real clean..
The timing chain supposedly needs to be replaced-routine maint- Is that a must do big deal?

The brakes pulse a little, doesn't blow much heat- does yours in the winter?

anyways I am interested in it- If you have any advice let me know...I got to get to the Local LR club- I know the guys at Expedition auto,etc.. I have everykind of rover except a Defender.....need one !!!!

There is a quick fix to help the heat blow better...do a sears on this site...

Someone mentioned that this truck is a Salvage title...I would check into that for sure...

If it is...you can find a better deal out there...
