40% off Superwinch...

Bill Burke worked out something with Superwinch. Use code SARCON13BB at checkout. Plus the winches are on sale. I picked up a 12.5k Talon for less than half.

www.superwinch.com

Ends October 31st...

Well this is fortuitous as I was looking to purchase a winch in the coming months. Looking at the Rock 12.8 or the Talon 12.5i SR. Will be mounting this in an Equipe bumper, looking for any recommendations before I pull the trigger.

synthetic rope with X-10?

great price on synthetic rope replacement. Anyone use synthetic on an older original version of X-10; any problems with drums breaking? 80' seems right with an extension?

Does SW carry the standard planetary style? If so, which models...I couldn't figure that out from the descriptions of their winches.

nevermind...I believe I found what I'm looking for...the Talon 9.5i should work.

Any reason not to get a superwinch given my Mantec bumper is allegedly made for Warn....

Same footprint, except for the husky line.

Superwinch uses a wider fairlead. Unless you want to hack up the front, you should use a warn fairlead. Make sure whatever winch you buy actually fits in there.

What's the big deal about the Bill Burke Husky? Looks like you pay $500 for synthetic line and a sticker. You'll ditch the roller fair lead and hook anyway.

Just curious.

Just ordered a Husky 10! Saved almost $1k. Thanks!!!!!!

Anyone know the max length 3/8 line the Husky will take?

Bill still uses (and recommends) a roller fairlead with synthetic. So it's just the rope and sticker I guess.
